Just looking at all the different types of people, especially the women that did it, from all the different backgrounds, the different ages that I viewed. And everybody was so happy, and the deals that had been done, it inspired me. I said, “I can do that, I know I can do that, I’ve got those skills. I have the desire, I have the motivation.” I have an MBA in international business from Thunderbird in Arizona, so I have friends from all over the world. That’s what allowed me to move to Europe, to feel comfortable there.

I’m doing culture design for organizations right now. So we assess and design positive cultures in for-profit big companies, military, healthcare. But I’m just looking for my future, for financial independence, to not have to always work, to do deals, to not be stuck in any one company or one project.

First thing I’m going to do is update my profile, tell everybody I know what I’m doing, what I’m looking for. I’ve got my accountability partner set up, so we’re going to talk every week like they suggested in the beginning, keep each other on track, online, set goals, contact prospects every week, send out the letters. And take it from there.

Look for joint ventures with different people that I’ve met here that were very inspiring that gave me ideas of other directions that I could go in if I decide to pivot. And yeah, especially look to partner up with some Harbour Clubbers.

So I came in here with one industry in mind, consumer products. And now I might instead start out with some more business services, there’s a lot of them in my area that I’m also very passionate about. So I got those ideas by listening to the guest speakers that were here, and then talking to people in the networking.
