Alexander Austin from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Actually, I saw it on LinkedIn about a year ago. Just followed some of the videos that I saw Jeremy speaking about, downloaded the report. Then I had a conversation with you, Monty, and we talked a few times, tried to make it happen, and where we can make it happen. I said,” I got to jump on it, man.” Everything that I had been trying to advance in my career, this to me streamlined the process, connected the dots. Going into the second day, I mean it’s like just blew the lid off of everything that I was thinking. Now it just is accelerated my process by two, three, maybe four steps.

It’s been amazing. Oh man, it’s been a complete blessing. I couldn’t wait until September because I just felt I would’ve lost a lot of traction, and I am just blown away. As I said before, I’m blown away at the fact that I made the trip. But just what I’ve learned a day and a half into it, it’s been absolutely worth it. Absolutely worth it. So I am super excited and pumped. I’ve met some great people. We’ve been getting to talk about opportunities. Within the first hour, I’m having conversations about opportunities of sitting down and being in here, so that it speaks volumes. I’m just looking forward to just blowing it out the water quite honestly.

There were opportunities. There was a larger deal last year that I lost because I didn’t have this information. Had I had this information, I would have been able to acquire that company probably a lot smoother. Knowing what I know now and some of the opportunities that I’ve began to talk and position and have conversations with the owners, it is looking, the outlook is positive. Definitely more, definitely more.

One, you’re going to learn a lot of things that you can’t read. You’re not going to read in the book. You’re going to have to hear it from people who actually put it into practicum. Two, you’re going to network with people that otherwise you may not… I’ve met people from all around the world just sitting in this room having conversations about things that maybe I have faced or things that maybe they are facing that I can help with and vice versa. Just seeing opportunities to say, “Hey, you know what, maybe we should just do a joint venture and see how many deals we can tackle in the next four months.” That’s the conversation we were having. I’ve been doing this for years as an advisor. Never had that conversation in 10 years. So it is paid for itself 10 times over, absolutely.

That was a conversation I was having with my wife in coming down because it is Mother’s Day weekend, so this is a family sacrifice. But what comes to mind is, is my daughter who’s in college right now, I would love for her to be able to attend this with me. So she can learn the skills as she builds her career as a dentist. This is a valuable skill for her to have right off the jump. It is, yeah, absolutely.

Anyone who wants to grow, if you’re looking to buy a business, if you are a practitioner, own a business, maybe you’re looking to sell, Maybe you’re not show exactly what position you want to play in entrepreneurship, but you have an idea or you have something, you definitely have to come.

Oh man, so I was just thinking, I’m like, “Man, I feel lucky.” I feel lucky because I’m like, it’s been a 10 year process of working as a advisor, having businesses in myself, and going through the process of winning and loss, losing, winning and losing, and having all this information scattered out, and not really knowing what to do with it. In one day and a half, I’ve talked to maybe 10 to 12 people who think exactly like me, have deal experience and it just literally brought everything together. All of the stuff that I’ve done is starting to come together and make sense now, where it’s like, oh man, it’s happening. It’s starting to turn the curve. Like I said, with all the stuff that happened just this week for the ducks to line up, it was meant to be because it didn’t look like it was going to happen. I mean it’s been tumultuous but it happened.

I couldn’t find a flight. I found a flight, a morning flight yesterday, Thursday, to get here by 7:45. You see what I mean? It’s like it was meant to be. I had to pay for it, but it was meant to be. That’s just, I have to follow the omens there. There’s a reason why I’m here today.

Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely. I was just telling my wife, just checking in, and checking in with my mom because her younger sister passed away on Wednesday. Just, there’s a lot of different things that are happening that are like you got to take advantage of your opportunities, you can’t waste them. I was telling my wife, I said, “Man, we’re in here for eight to nine hours and it doesn’t feel like it.” See, that’s what you got to pay attention to. We’re learning for eight to nine hours, then we’re conversing for another two hours, and it doesn’t feel like it. That’s when you know you are literally, you’re growing and expanding big time.

I woke up this morning and, “Okay, I got to get my mind right so that I can understand all the stuff I learned yesterday and I can compound it today,” and I’m now thinking about deals. Now, every time I get on a break, I’m thinking about, “Okay, who can I talk to? Who Have I talked to? What deals have I looked at? Now how can I bring it to the table?” Or, “Who can I talk to, to help me get this deal done?” So it’s cool, man, yeah. Yo, seriously, I appreciate you, man. You are a blessed. You have no idea. You have no idea what you’ve done for my family by helping me out. Because you didn’t have to, you didn’t have to, bro. You my family, you’ve just helped my family in ways you have no idea.
